Manufacturing plants rely on machines running continuously to maintain productivity and avoid operational losses. Maintenance engineers are responsible for monitoring equipment health, detecting potential failures, scheduling maintenance activities, coordinating technicians, and reporting outcomes.

Most maintenance systems today are designed around dashboards and manual workflows. Engineers often switch between several systems to understand issues and coordinate actions. This creates delays, repetitive work, and decision fatigue.

The opportunity was to rethink maintenance operations using an Agentic UX approach where AI assists users by analyzing data, making recommendations, and coordinating actions.
